My newest project is making a leather coin purse. Check out the new video as I try out my new sewing machine for the first time.
At this point in my apprenticeship I have spent a lot of time working by Jim at his workshop. I have gotten use to his machines but in order to get more practice I needed to get a machine of my own. The machine I got is an old Sears Kenmore from my great-aunt who wasn’t using it anymore. After getting a walking foot and some leather needles I was ready to try out making a coin purse.
